The Courtyard building brief was to create a new facility to meet the needs of the most vulnerable children in the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. It houses children who are unable to cope in mainstream primary schools, and are therefore excluded, due to their behavioural, social and emotional difficulties. The students are aged between 4-9 years old. The brief was to co-locate the unit on the Langford Primary School site (utilising the listed old Montessori nursery building on the site).

Facade Engineering supplied the full height structural glazing with "sand blast" effect vertical stripes for shading and a stunning visual appearance.
