The Hertfordshire Campus, known as Hawkshead, is close to Potters Bar and Hatfield, and was officially opened in 1959 by Queen Elizabeth II. BVetMed students in their clinical years and the BSc Vet Nurses spend the majority of their time at this site. Hawkshead is a short train journey from London King’s Cross Station.

New Student housing, a refectory and leisure facilities have recently ben completed and mean the campus is quite self-contained.

Façade Engineering provided a bespoke window and structural glass solution to the Oriel Windows and Refectory Glazing. The Tilt / Turn Windows had a bespoke external perforated panel to allow ventillation and security when open.

Structural Glazed Solar Control Low Iron toughened laminated glass was used in the fixed Oriel Windows. SAPA SX Curtain Wall was used for the Refectory Glazing.
